These would be the non retrofit style for $300 right? I don’t know the difference between the pro/sr5/or/sport headlight. Are these just OR/sport headlights blacked out I guess?

Did you have to cut the lense off the headlight or heat them up in the oven to remove it? I saw a video from Oracle where they cut the lense off with a cutting disc. Any concern with leak over time?

Yes these start at $320. This set added halos ($100) and the smoked acrylic turn signal cover ($50). Sport/Ofroad/limited headlights have the led daytime running lights, thats the only style headlight i deal with. Pro's are the same but with black housings.

I use the oven to separate them. I seal them back up with retrorubber, a butyl rubber sealant specifically for headlights. I haven't had any issues with leaking/condensation.

I have a couple sets of lights with repairs done that i will be offering at a discount over the next few weeks. This is a standard bhlm set with tinted side markers. One light has a repair on the upper inner tab, the other on the grill mount. They are plastic welded, and filled with additional plastic (from a spare light housing so it is the same plastic). I performed the repairs before I did any other work to them so they’ve withstood all the bending, pushing, and prying of removing the lenses. These would usually be $320 + your stock lights, im offering them for $220 + your stock lights. They are available to ship right away so you’ll also avoid the 8 week wait.

SOS. Sorry to ask this on this thread. I just recently heard about @no vtec 4me by @20tacoma17 . Wish I would have used no vtec from the start.

Anyway, I’ve been in a year long process to get my BHLM with DD switchback DRLs. They came in today! I hate to screw things up with electrical. I did not realize DD switchback required additional wiring ANY help ( especially wiring diagram with wire colors would be most appreciated!733C6C18-CD85-4661-BA7B-A22B0A121E08.jpg4 wires coming off DD switchback driver

    image.jpg
This is pic of BHLM left lights. Going from Left to right lights are...1. Parking light? 2. Low beam. 3 High. 4. Turn signal. 5. Wires coming out DRL.

Can anyone tell where the 4 wires from switchback driver go ( and what color!)? Black is ground - do you ground to metal frame or pigtail with another ground wire ( black and white wire?)

Sorry l have enough basic knowledge to be dangerous

I will have to check but yes the black is ground. Just tie into original drl ground. Let me do some checking on other 3 but
1 is drl high output and will tie into your original drl positive wire.
1 is drl low and will tie into you headlight positive wire
And the other will tie into your positive turn signal wire.

Let me see it I can find the wire colors instructions.

Apologize again. I think I figured out arrangement of lights now. Each light has a white/black wire with a colored wire, EXCEPT the DRL set which has 3 wires...CA34DD24-2CAD-4F88-AF97-00A8329B31D5.jpgAccording to DD instructions Red wire from DD switchback driver goes to Factory DRL - blue or green wire?

The wire colors change after the stock DRL plug(sorry don’t know the cole change off the top of my head) but that’s where I’d tap the switchbacks off. Forgive my awesome photoshop

@mesojdm I wish I could think/visualize the way you do. I thought about PM directly but SURELY some other schmuck has had the same issue I'm going through.

Having trouble understanding your pic you sent ( I do appreciate visual cues). Does the blue box represent the Switchback Driver? If so, I have 4 wire coming out of Driver. According to DD Red to "factory DRL"; white to parking light; yellow to turn signal; black ground.

I think I understand all the wiring except for the "factory DRL". The remaining connector on the truck side for the DRL has a ground and a blue and green wire as shown in earlier pic. The Red wire should tap into the blue or green, right????

Do you still have your OEM lights with drl plugs?

Blue box is switchback driver. Wires coming off it are same color as in reality(same as your pic too) connect them exactly as shown. If you want to tap the blue or green wires(on the other side of the DRL harness) just trace the wires I have shown to the other side and connect accordingly

@mesojdm I confess I am a very literal and visual learner.

your photoshop pic shows only 1 wire (yellow) coming off of Driver. Besides ground and the white wire ( white goes to parking light), I'm trying to understand where the RED wire from Driver goes?

Red is 100% bright on the Switchback board. Tap off DRL wire (red on the headlight) but it changes color after the connector (I can’t remember blue or green) just look at the connector and see which pin lines up
