Retrofit and BHLM Headlights

99% of the sets I do are satin, I’d say ultimately I prefer that. Gloss is a close second. I don’t really like flat or matte personally.

 

I have to agree with Satin or Semi-gloss. Matte looks a little grey. Gloss looks good and dark but a little harder to get it lay perfectly.

Just to let you know I didn’t make an exponential amount more having my stock headlights bhlm versus what these guys are selling their complete OEM headlights for. When I was selling mine most people wanted to see the headlights blacked out by a (professional). It’s a ton of work to do the headlights. Just want to save you some headaches if you think you’re going to bet a ton out of them

Appreciate the heads up man. Parts of me wasn't sure what the market is like for bhlm headlights.

Maybe I can sell it as a "kit" with it already split apart. See what kind of hits I can get with that. Well see.

 

I guess you never know! I got some bites at $450 but had them for sale on here as well as CL and FB and ended up selling just for the $350. The bhlm took me forever too haha

Ok so I've read through majority of this thread and still have some questions mostly regarding the high beams. When ordering the lights what upgrades do the high beams get? I understand the projectors will now act as the low/high beam but what happens to the old high beam bulbs? Do they remain the same meaning they will be an off white/yellow color? Are the bulbs upgraded to match? Can they be eliminated completely since the new projectors are now my high beams? Sorry if I skimmed over this question being answered prior I tried to look but coudn't find an exact answer.

 

With a retrofit you will gain a high beam in the projector. The stock high beam bulb will still function just like it does stock. You can always upgrade the bulb to something that matches better if you prefer. You can also just delete it and paint the high beam bucket black as well if you’d like.

 

what’s something like that run? I’m looking at oem led swap or retro fits on mine.
