hhhhmmmm.... Since I'm running LED headlights now, the damn snow won't melt off the lenses. This might be a way to resolve that issues.

Nice. I'd been trying to work a solution on that for the PIAA 80 Pro XT's on old Gen1 for quite a while and eventually gave up. Sucks balls to have to stop every mile or two down a long muddy road to clean lights because you can't see dick. Have even thought of how to do it for the BD bar in the bumper on the Gen3. This is a solution that would at least give me headlights though.

Is the plastic on those such that it could be painted to match body color?

So here's how it looks behind the bumper.

Yes, you can prime the washer jet and repaint it to anything you like. Land Rover LR2 has color matching washer when they roll out from the production line, but replacement parts are all black plastic.

I feel the pain...I had the same trouble from last winter. Snows covered up everything on my headlight and lightbar...and I can't see anything up front. That's the reason why I have this mod. :)

Yes, this is the same exact reason why I have this mod.

Before making the hole, didya just eyeball it for position? I mean how to get the spray pattern right?

Wait, does the US version not have a fluid level sensor? I haven't run out yet so I have not noticed.

Usually the nozzles are adjustable with a paper clip or similar item.

I did make a template by cardboard, just to make sure both sides are at the same position.
For the nozzles, yes you can also adjust them to some degree by pushing it downward, upward, left or right.

So can the senso be added or do we need the whole container?

Go ahead and bore into the container...it's only plastic...the sensor has a grommet just like the pump, and there's always silicone...:D

I read in the Rover Forum that they work with a sort of timer/counter sync'd to the wipers. Every 5~7 wipes it washes headlights.

Yes, it is possible to just plug the sensor back on the factory 2 pins connector, it is right there leave open.
Here's the parts you need for the level sensor.

Nah, that's controlled by the Land Rover ECU, not ours and not the $28 dollars washers.

What about a dual pump tank/container retrofit? Separate on/off switch for headlight cleaning?

It's not like the tank is under pressure.

You could, but that will be a completely different project. I'm pretty much satisfied with the current setup. Our tank is big enough IMO.
