Some member asked me how to adjust the nozzle. See the photo attached, you can pretty much adjust the nozzle any angle you want. Up, down, rotating to the left or right.

Empty and remove the one in your Tacoma, maybe it has the dimples where it can be bored out to insert the level sensor.:notsure:

Edit: After digging around a bit more, I believe us US folks would have to
replace our combination meters in order to get the low fluid warning
indication. That would be cost prohibitive.

I ordered the fluid level switch. It's a magnetic float switch, which is kind of interesting.

    • It fit the existing plug perfectly.
    • I held off on installing it in the fluid container until I was sure it worked.
    • Flipping the switch 180 degrees to open and close the magnetic switch produced zero results.
    • No message appeared on the the multi-information display.
    • The switch did not appear in Techstream.

There are a couple of possibilities:
    • The US models have the plug, but no message/light system.
    • There is a system that must be enabled by the dealer.
    • There is a fuse required for the switch. However, even if the fuse is missing I would expect the switch to appear in Techstream.

More research is required on my part.

So last Sunday I was driving back from PA to Brooklyn through the beginning of the big snowstorm, and saw firsthand that the 2020 OEM LED headlights ain’t worth a damn in wet heavy snow, so I figure I’ll give this one a try.

My little twist on it, since I don’t particularly care about spraying the headlights at times other than in snow, is to throw this little barbed ball valve in the mix. Hopefully it will make it possible to just turn on the headlight spray when it snows.

Use a electric valve, that way you can just push a switch to turn them on instead of popping the hood and turning on the valve anytime you need it

    Great mod!
My 85 FJ60 has from factory and it’s very handy

Anybody know the 2021 Oem led - do they generate enough heat in the snowy conditions ?
