You should hook up with @forty2 - he makes a switch panel for that cubby. A perfect match for this set up. I will be getting both ( if you can ship to Canada ).

Yes. Canada shipping is not extra charge for the $50 kits. It's $5 extra for the $20 kits

Whoops, so sorry. Loved my third gen 4Runner which had many similarities to the 1st gen Taco. This 3rd gen Taco is my first vehicle with a backup camera.

 

Installed today works perfect

 

Great job there. To install the button (that's the exact setup I ordered) did you remove the panel first or did you handle it all from under the dash?

 

I removed the panel made it very easy

 

Very cool. Any tips on getting that panel off? Maybe a good spot to grab hold on and pull?

 

No it wasn't real easy and I put a few small marks on the surrounding area but I started on the left side the gap was a little bigger and slowly made my way around

 

Looks awesome! Im constantly trying to make these kits easier, and cheaper. If you have any improves or suggestions, let me know!

 

does it stay illuminated all the time? or only when the lights are on??

The OEM button runs off the dash circuit illumination. So, when your OEM buttons are illuminated so is the Rear Cam button. Just like OEM
