Hi, I just ordered the wolfbox g900 pro dashcam reverse mirror camera. I will be installing the rear camera on the inside of the rear window looking back. It would be nice to know where I can connect the reverse trigger wire inside the cabin without having to go to the reverse lights or tow hitch. Is there a reasonably easy location inside the cabin. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Remove the radio and find the connector on the radio that looks like J33. You’d be splicing in or building a t harness. Splice into pin 5 or 17 on that connector.

I just ordered the sonic beat adapter. Once I do it, I will post some photos. I am still also waiting on the mirror to arrive

I am not sure though how I will route all the wires to completely hide them. I imagine once I lift the carpet I will find a place.

Yes, so I know I will run it under the headliner towards to the passenger door then down along the A Pilar. After that point how to get it back to the dash I am not sure.

My opinion is the reverse trigger on the wolfbox camera is mostly useless. It will put a grid on your rear view mirror to use as a grid like on a back up camera.

The better solution is honestly to either use the factory reverse camera for reversing duties, and/or relocate it if necessary (if you have stuff in the way). The wolfbox camera IS GREAT for rear view mirror duties.

(3rd gen Tacoma with alucab camper shell and a swingout and a 35" tire mostly even blocking the wolfbox camera and it's still useful)
