Does anyone have a picture of how their reverse harness was connected? I'm talking about the harness combo that allows you to add a line-out-converter without hacking up the factory wiring. I'm trying to confirm how the control for the lights/dimmer on the stereo are connected.

If I recall, there was an orange wire on one and an orange/white wire on the other. They had different labels on the metra kits. Do those just go together? What am I missing?

    Anyone?

Do the orange and the orange/white get wired together in order for the head unit button lights to work?

I know these harnesses have been done numerous times on here. Who can confirm that where the orange wires go?!?!

Here is a picture. You can see that the orange is not connected at the moment:

I put an LOC on my factory stereo. I'm trying to get the back lighting on the buttons to come on when I turn my headlights on.

I connected the orange to orange on my wiring harness, and it works fine for me. Radio dims when I turn on the lights.

One of mine is orange and the other is orange/white. I guess I'll try putting those two together?

That's what I did ( I verified in the aftermarket stereo's manual that it was the correct wire for dimmer )
