    @kryten I appreciate it!

I may be picking up a set of 2018 Sport front coils/shocks, and I was wondering if they are side specific? I noticed the OR fronts are side specific since they have different colored painted dots on the springs. But the Sport Hitachi's seem to have the same color on each side. Did you have any issues with figuring out which side is which?

06 access cab trdor 4x4 long bed all stock. I also have probably 200lbs of weight always in the access cab area of the truck.

I do have airbags, which are currently not installed because I had the dealer do the new leaf springs. I’m trying to decide whether to just put them back with a pump and gauge to always monitor them, or just go with some new stiffer leafs.

I almost wish I hadn’t added the 1/4” spacers on the front now. I’m sure it has very minimal effect, but it would have at least made some stiffening difference I assume.

    First world problems!

I recall them being side specific. Mine had different colored dots. I had a shop put them in, but I found a thread where the colored dots were explained as to which side is which. I'll post an update if I find it again.

I like this economical 1 inch 'lift kit' enough that I picked up a full 0 miles take off set of yellow Bilstein TRD Offroads for a change for next time around.

These are my 2 sets. Hitachis in use now.

My 06 TRDOR was level in the front prior to the 3rd gen coil install. I opted to go with the same 1/4" spacer on both sides and it came out again even, at +1-1/4" from stock. Even though the front is 1/4" lower than the rear right now, it almost looks as if the front is a smidge higher, just due to the profile of the front I believe. Moral of the story, I didnt try to adjust for any lean. I put the red and green dot coil assembly on the drivers side, which is correct.

Amazing thank you! I agree that its a great budget lift. I also purchased a 1/4" spacer for the drivers side to correct the lean.

My current measurements (Top of tire to fender):

    Front Driver - 4.5"
    Front Passenger - 5"
    Rear Driver - 6"
    Rear Passenger - 6.25"

I think this setup would put me pretty level all in all by adding 1.5" to drivers side and 1" to the passenger side.

What truck did the new coils come off of?

My motor is the v6. I believe that the trdor's were all v6? The suspension I got was from a 17 trdor.

I am not sure either that is why i asked. My guess is it that there may be substantially enough weight difference between the trucks. Was the 17 an access cab also?

If the 17 is a double cab its 300lbs heavier which is a lot.

The 3rd gen susension I got was from a 17 double cab, however I thought they were all the same part# for the front springs? Can anyone confirm for sure? Also are the 3rd gen leafs different from the 2nd gen?

Any other thoughts or comments on my perdicament? I did find out(and I hope this is true) that the 16+ trd 4x4 4 door short bed is the same coil spring as the 16+trd access cab long bed... so I believe I do have the right or closest springs/suspension.

Throw up some suspension pics and if there is something wrong a fresh set of eyes could help.

Probably give 2nd gens 2 inches but it might cost a lot more because they are OEM.

I just picked up a complete set of leaf and front shock from a 2019 3rd Gen OR Billstin shock

Right now I have 2011 Gen 2 Pre-runner TRD Sport w/4.0 with Pro Comp 2.25 Spacer kit and 1inch block

Can I install the spacers on this 3rd Gen kit along with my Blocks on the back or will this cause to much problems with alignment.

    Right now i am at
    LF 36.5 RF 37
    LR 36 RR 36.75
