Not to knock Relentless, but I doubt they'd have a bumper to you in a month because, like I said, they build to the order. If you like them though, I'd still call them. He might have a partial one built that he could get together quickly, never know...

PIAA lights are not a direct plug and play to your fog lights however the wiring would be fairly simple.

1st Option: Run the PIAA lights with their kit which includes the wires, relay and switch and bypass all of the stock wiring.

2nd Option: Cut the stock fog light connector off and hardware just the lights into the stock wiring. If you're using a really high wattage bulb in the PIAA's I wouldn't recommend this because the stock fogs are only 45 watts each I believe and most PIAA bulbs draw a lot more.

3rd Option: Use the stock fog wiring as a trigger, tripping a relay for the PIAAs and draw power for the PIAA's somewhere else so you don't overload the stock wiring and relays.

If it were me, I'd use option 3 for my truck.

Oh and, shameless plug, I'm selling a set of PIAA 540's if those were the lights you were thinking about getting :anonymous:

Thanks for the info. It seems kind of complicating to wire them up though haha. are they 6 inch? because thats the size i need for the holes on the bumper.

Correct, I'd have to measure the diameter with the covers but I'd guess it'd be damn close to 6".

FWIW, I'm not sure what PIAA lights are 6" without covers. The 520 and 525's are 6-1/4" without the covers.

If the inside diameter of the hole is 6", you'll probably want the 540's, the 520's and 525's will be too big. The 540's with the rock covers will most likely fit fairly snug in the 6" opening.

I'm selling them for $100 + shipping but it doesn't include the whole PIAA wiring system, just the lamps and rock guards. New, the entire kit is $275ish depending on where you buy from.

Check out this link, it's the sale thread for my lights:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/buy-sell-trade/205008-feeler-piaa-540-fog-lights.html

What do you want to know about 5100's? I've got them on my Tacoma now with Eibach coils up front and an AAL for the rear.

thanks for the offer on the lights i'll think about it but I think I might just get it when i order the bumper so that way I get the wiring harness.

Will they work with the revtec 3 inch spacer in the front? And did they make the truck ride a little smoother?

No problem. They've been for sale for a while and likely still will be if you change your mind.

There's no need to use the revtec spacer with 5100's. The 5100's have an adjustable coil seat and provide lift by preloading the stock coil. I would not put a 3" top plate spacer on my Tacoma and here's why:
    http://www.camburg.com/news/read-this-before-you-buy-a-spacer-lift/

5100's do give a nice ride and so far I'm happy with mine. The coils and AAL you put with them will make a difference though. If you get lift by preloading the stock coil, it will make for a stiffer ride, especially if you have a TRD Off Road. If you want 3" of lift, I'd strongly suggest an aftermarket coil to pair with the 5100's for better ride quality and performance.

Thanks i'll keep it in mind.

i had never seen that before. I have the revtec spacers and luckily that hasnt happened to me because I go through a lot of rough roads. I've also been looking at the walker evans coil overs but the only thing is they are very expensive

If you want a decent, budget friendly, 3" lift, check out the Old Man Emu kits. They ride well and are a lot cheaper than adjustable coilover setups. Check out Toytec Lifts for different setups and Downsouth Motorsports. I believe Downsouth is cheaper but I don't think they list OME as one of the brands they carry on their website.

The difference between your revtek kit and those kits on camburgs site are that yours sits in the shock with the coil, compressing the coil to give you more lift. The other sit on top of the shock to make the assembly longer to give more lift.

You're not gonna break anything except maybe your teeth. If you like the set up, it's fine to run. 5100s do the exact same thing as the revtek kit essentially but are a nicer shock and valved differently to ride a little nicer.

My bad, I thought the revtec was a top plate spacer. If it's a coil spacer like maxamillion said, they essentially do the same thing that 5100's are going to do. The 5100's will do a better job dampening the preloaded coil than the stock shocks though.

Could I still leave the spacers on if i were to put the 5100s and then crank it up to make it a little higher?

It's not a good idea to stack lifts, I wouldn't. I'd ditch the revtec spacers if you go with 5100's and crack the 5100's up to 2.5 and use a thin top plate to get the full 3" of lift.
