So I could run 885 with stock struts? Which would be shy of the full 3"...
If I want to add the spacer I need new uca? is anyone running this setup on stock uca?

Yes you can. You'll lose caster, which makes your truck feel "twitchy" when you drive it.

I drove my truck for a year lifted to 3" without UCAs. I finally put them not for off-roading but to make it more comfortable to drive on the highway and on my daily drive.

So yes, you can do without.

I thought if you changed out the coils/springs then you HAD to buy new shocks

Are you going to run that on your stock uca and stock struts? Keep me posted on how it turns out. I still need a month or so to save up...

Toytec says you need upgrade shocks too if you're gonna run 885s but maybe you can do without, not sure tbh. I would upgrade the shocks if it were me...

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
Depends... If your replacing with stock coils then you can keep stock shocks. But if your replacing with a taller coil, especially one with a much higher spring rate then you should get new shocks that are valved specifically for stiff coils

So if this is the case the least expensive way to get a 3" lift would be to get 5100's in the fronts and max them out with a 1/2" top spacer or so on stock springs and then in the rear you could aal kit on stock struts. Is this correct?

    Stock for now
885's will eventually blow up the stock struts - they're too long and stiffly sprung for the stock length and valving. Get 5100s, at a minimum.

There's a misconception in these last few replys

Both OME and 5100 shocks are basically the same length as stock shocks at full extension. There's less than half an inch difference.

If they are the same as stock how are you able to level or lift your truck with 5100's?

If you can use aftermarket coils on a stock shock then That's news to me...

But 5100's level the truck by allowing for the coil seat to be adjusted higher than stock would allow which compresses the coil
