RevTek Problems

I just got off the phone with 4 Wheel Parts after speaking with them on whether to get a Tuff Country or RevTek 3" lift and they suggested the RevTek over the Tuff Country, but they told me that, starting with the 3" lift and up, you can experience problems with the front axle. Is this true or is it just 4 Wheel Parts?

 

You need a differential drop to keep the angles of the CVs from being too extreme. This is recomended on any lift of that style. The increased angles created by the lift can cause premature wear to your CVs.

 

do you know about how much that would cost?

 

You can do a search online, but Toytec offers one for about $30. You can install it yourself. It's very easy.
