Since you will have your tail lights out you might want to throw some brighter reverse bulbs in there. I used some 30W(=50) halogen bulbs that snap right into place and much brighter than stock. Heres a link to the thread in case you haven't already seen it.

Thanks Rick. I actually have white led reverse lights already. What's the difference between leds and that reverse light mod?

The LED's dont do a good job of reflecting light outwards in the chrome housing. I have a "projector" type led that puts more of a focus on the light output but, still dont reflect well.

Those halogen bulbs are much, much brighter and properly reflect the light which is what the stock tail lights were intended for.

Makes sense. The reverse leds seem to put out just as much light as the stock ones but are just a whiter color. I was honestly expecting more. I might look into this mod sometime in the future. Im assuming there are white colored halogens as well? Thanks guys.

Neil is correct. I think they are all just bright white. Not sure if they have different shades of white.

Rick, would you please take a close up picture of the bottom front of your truck? I would like to see the angles on your CV's. Are your boots wearing bad sitting up that high? It looks like you have about a 4-5 inch lift.

Not at all anymore. I put some black "door edge guard" on the fins. No more whistle.
