Okay, I have talked myself out of wheel spacers to get the tires out flush with the fenders. (a recent post of mine)

Going to just save up a bit and get rims. What size rims do you guys suggest for a stock 2017 TRD OR. I want to re use my old tires to save money, they have 1200 miles on them.

Specs are showing I should have 265/70/16.

What rim width am I after and offset to accomplish my goal, and where do you prefer to buy from?

16" rims, 8 width work okay? Offset to make the tires flush with fenders or a slightly past?

16x8 0 offset will be flush/tiny bit of poke.

I am googling tire offset to try to learn a bit more about it.

So 8in rims should make it stick out a bit more then stock and give me the look most of us taco owners are after?

The 8 inch width plays a small role but the backspacing does the most. Stock BS is 5.25", so a 4.5" will sit outboard another 0.75". Add in the extra from the width and you have a flush setup.

Summary: look for a 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing.

Yep. I ran 16x8 0 offset wheels on 265/75/16s. Truck got totaled but I have a pic, not very good but enough to show you how it sat.

Don't recall the backspacing, but if you Google Level 8 MK6 16x8 0 offset, it'll tell you the backspacing.

perfect. I am not afraid to let the tire stick out a bit past the fender to give me that wider stance. Thank you so much.

What wallet friendly brands and stores should i shop around at?
