What are the benefits of a smaller or larger rim size? Or are there any problems with different rim sizes on Tacomas? All I know is that a smaller rim is better for offroading as it gives more rubber area to flex.

I currently have the stock TRD 17" wheels, but am looking on CL for new wheels and tires. Would I have any problems with 15" rims? Just wondering if they rub the body mounts, or would that depend on backspacing too?
