    That sucks. I had to swap my derailer out 8 years ago for wrecking on a trail in Germany.

    Most the crashes I have had in the past are because i did the mountain biking equivalent of just send it! A few, however, are directly related to the clips. The pros still outweigh the cons.

    Bike is fixed. Bent hanger, deraileur, and limits all out of whack... kiddo and I likely going for a ride in a little while.
