BP 3.5 Task List UPDATED 12/07/19
Check out the BP3.5 Task list! Currently in progress and at Step #1 still. Air tools are now up and progress can start! Time is all thats needed now

Here is my first build thread and so I hope you enjoy it!! Its a log of all the work I've done and what I plan on doing to my 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4. Little did I know what I was getting myself into. I really just wanted a truck to haul my bikes and standard home owner type stuff. I had not checked the internet, found this site, or known anything really other than i wanted a TRD (for the name), white, long bed, 4x4 Tacoma.

Shout out to all those cool folks on TW who have shared information, their experiences, and what not. Many of these folks are from the kick ass Austin, TX TacomaWorld.com Chapter and others who I ran into in my obsession with this truck.

Also, I cant forget about the awesome vendors either. The scene would be nothing without the small one person operations or the large international vendors making all the parts!

So, since the house move is all done and we are mostly settled, and I’ve finished some major goals at work, im thinking i need to take on some new challenges. I’ve got just enough space in the garage so I’m going to try my hand at some more work on the truck. This time, I am going to step it up and try to do everything myself that I would have gone to @Texoma or others for in the past. I’ll still use vendors for things here and there, but will aim to be as DIY as possible. Here is the list of things I am planning on doing to the truck and kind of in the order I am thinking I will go with. I hope to learn a lot and get some new tools in the process.[IMG] I already ordered impact sockets, metric and sae, regular and deep socket, rails, impact, flex head ratcheting wrenches, tool boxes, extensions, adapters, and anything else I was missing. Ill be ordering a welder and related items soon as well.

I have broken the list into 3 categories and am going to use this post as a running list to keep track of it all. If you see anything that would make sense in a diff order or something I should consider, let a brother know!

Next up, I had to ditch the stock tires. I have my mind on some adventure and those stock tires were not going to cut it. This felt like a great time to join the #KO2Mafia. I picked up 4 from Discount Tire on Ben White in 265/70/17. The store manager, Tim, bought my OEM tires and so I walked out the door for a decent price. He also mentioned that he would buy my spare so when the time comes, Ill get my 5th from them probably.

Here is a little before & after from stock to the ko2's. They fill the wheel well quite nicely and have a nice aggressive look. Also, had to go with the white lettering out since I have black wheels on the mind for the future
