Morning!

 

What a fine day outside although a little windy. Finally, after months of laziness, I'm cleaning the trucks interior!

Finished vacuuming and about to wipe all surfaces and glass. Gonna nicely wash up the weather tecs and cover everything in formula 303 and it'll be clean!!

I'm hoping to get @ChadsPride approval once done

And I'm done for today! So stoked the inside is clean. I have a spot on my seat I need to figure out how to remove

Tomorrow I'll do an oil change and replace the rear drums and shoes along with the ebrake cables on the drum side. I'll have to take apart the center console to disconnect the ebrake cable from the inside and so since the center console will be out, I'm going to start working on the other interior mods I have lined up!

 

Big Perm is looking Klean.

I feel ya mines thrashed.

 

I found numerous items from previous trips including:

• One of @lilred95 packet of HEB green tea mix
• Couple of french fries. Likely culprit, me or Lil A.
• Many receipts, straw wrappers and similar
• various pieces of energy bars and other snacks
• Hair of varying colors and lengths...
• Oh, and bits of dog foods and treats

This on top of the dust, dirt, literal dried mud, rocks, sand, and vegetation bits including tree limbs and dried leaves LOL

Well I thought I would work on the truck, but I ended up not doing any of that. I did take the other car out and give it a proper wash. It still needs a little bit of detailing on the outside, but it looks pretty good. The inside of that one is still dirty however

Morning Chad!! Hope you had a great weekend. I need to treat the Tesla to a proper inside cleaning like I did for BP. Luckily it's no where near as dirty ad the truck was

 

Heck yeah, you don't take that thing through the mud?

 

Hahah you'd be surprised how dirty road grime is! I know you know! That kind of black, sticky coating near the low parts close to the ground...

Mud washes off with water where as you have to actually scrub to get road grime off

 

Absolutely, that road grime is almost worse than mud because of the oils and grease. I pulled off the tiny road up by my dad lakehouse to snap a puc and didn't realize there was a small mud spot.

Took off and it was flinging it everywhere like I just went through a 20 mile bog
Texas is so crazy with the amount of different environments and respected soils.

 

No doubt man! I just wish we had some more public lands in Texas. Hill country trails will have to do
