I could be down for something. Currently my goal is to be back in the workforce by August but lets see how that works out

I'm game!!! Let's save our pennies and do private.

I'm not a fan of the old crew boat style trips.

No equipment necessary. Depending on If we do a half for full day it could be anywhere from 3-6 hundo or higher.

I'd be willing to put in a nice chunk for a full day on an established vessel.

More people could help/hurt the costs. I'm in either way, just saying.

Depends how the captain runs his business.

My dad was a charter captain on his private vessel down there when I was young.

If we nail some dates down I will start making some calls and see who's catching em and how to get on their boat.

Is that’s 3-600 each? Or in total?

Total. Just kind of depends on if we want to get on a smaller boat vs larger...or really just who's charging what.

Some guys down there their starting their careers as captains will make good deals just to get people talking about them.

Some vessels are owned by a private company and run by a captain of their choice.

So it just depends. But, I'm willing to guarantee we could find something that will suit all of our needs as a whole.

We could always chose to go out on an old crew boat...its just not as good of an experience (in my opinion)

Route I've worked out for Expo West:

    Screen Shot 2018-03-23 at 2.41.09 PM.jpg

Concern right now is time. Particularly trying to fit in North Rim. Gonna take a day to get to Las Cruces. A couple days to Expo. Wander Expo for a day and head to North Rim. Need a night there at least. And a couple days to get all the way back to TX. I'd actually consider skipping Grand Canyon and instead doing that on another trip along with Monument Valley and Grand Staircase

Okay that looks pretty awesome. You have this in Gaia that can be shared?

When I get back in front of my computer I can see the dates and propose something date wise based on that route.

And the more north we go, the closer to SLC it is for me

Las Cruces to Toroweap in .gpx format. I made this one in RideGPS. I've made it in Gaia too but I can't remember which one was more accurate.

I'm totally down for a PINS run with you guys. As long as I can get free that weekend. I'd rather do that than camp with the other TW hooligans.
