Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Did you install ram air on your ban hammer? I've got to look into that...

THIS. I know the OP is gone, but yea any operator whether SF or support that has actually been down range tend to be pretty hush hush about that stuff on a forum like this. Furthermore, many brotherhoods are established in the sand regardless of rank/community/service branch assuming they have actually been there. He reminds me alot of a guy who never got to earn his bragging rights and has a disgruntled chip on his shoulder.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Ranger, but remember some rangers never get to actually use that skill in theatre. Seems to me he might of been one of the unfortunate few to fly a desk, not that flying a desk is a bad thing. Too bad he got banned before producing any credible numbers for his theory to go on. From one engineer to another, I had to admit that dude seemed to have an unrealistic approach to the possibilities with this set up.

My first thoughts on this theory is he wouldn't be able to have high enough speeds in the taco to make the possible friction losses in the scoop worth any positive performance gains as I think a minimum of 120ish MPH would probably be needed to notice anything interesting from a machine. I say this in a loosely, non-results statement. With that being said, I think we have a pretty smart TW bunch amongst us with some great feedback in this thread.

Thanks for all the folks who helped make this a good read this morning.

I am really disappointed that in 12 pages not one of you mentioned that his education/wealth rant was the spitting image of the little person author's rant in the movie Elf.

Well sorry I missed all the fun the other day. I knew this thread was going places ..... it went soo many places and ended with OP having permanent butt hurt. I thought it would happen sooner actually. The OP did find out the mods have Ram Air X2 .... no pics required.

Ah well, the OP is resting his butt hurt on the high ground from whence he came. I guess that's another positive... good to see another........ PROBLEM SOLVED. Thank you TW.

One question about the ram air..... what happens if it rains?? Ooooops forgot to think about that one.

I'm soo smart, rich, tougher than the rest, and I fly in my Taco, its just a toy to me. Come over here closer OP so I can smack the shit out of you cause for some reason your mom didn't do it. Just sayin...

Wow he bro'd himself so Bro-fully he bro'd himself right outta here.... that's hella real fire bro-taco. Gonna miss you Bro...

I was a communications support soldier working in 1st special forces group for most of my army career. No one is a "tier 2 socom operator". SOCOM is just the umbrella that Special Forces, Seals, MARSOC, etc fall under. This guy sounds like a kid who played too many video games. Most green hats are chill and dont brag about accomplishments unless they're douches.

I wouldn't be surprised if that turd wasn't some phony wanna-be trolling from the computer at the local library wearing a ranger shirt he found, trying to get attention...totally disrespectful to anyone who served.

what you said here made me think of Grimes. Given the op timeline (he said he got out in 93) he could have been in Mogadishu.
