Hey guys! So a little impromptu but I found out that the job I had lined up for this summer fell through and instead of trying to find another one I decided to say screw it and just travel all summer! I had been wanting to do this trip for some time now and here's my take from it. The trip went like this... Fort Collins, Colorado> Fruita> Moab> Las Vegas/Hoover Dam> Joshua Tree NP> Death Valley NP> Sequoia NP> Kings Canyon NP> Yosemite NP> San Francisco> Redwoods> Lake Tahoe> and back to Fort Collins. Pics will follow as I compile them.

Started the trip by leaving FoCo and heading to Fruita, CO to do some mountain biking since I just bought a new Santa Cruz Hightower LT:thumbsup: Once I shredded some of the 18 Road trails there I headed to Moab for the night. The next day I drove to Vegas went to check out Hoover Dam and the Las Vegas strip. Both were awesome!

After Vegas, I headed to Joshua Tree NP and I thought it was cool but I don't think it lives up to the hype people put it up to be.

After Joshua Tree NP I headed over to Death Valley. I really enjoyed Death Valley. I was a little bummed because the north highway in the park was closed so that made me take the back roads in the park. I was about to turn onto the road that Tea Kettle junction was on and realized I didn't have enough fuel to get there and back to a gas station so I didn't make it to Tea Kettle Junction and the Racetrack. I'll be back someday though!

After Death Valley, I went to Sequoia NP and saw some of the biggest trees in the world. It was crazy! Was definitely not expecting the snow and I even ended up in a blizzard! Still had a great time though!

After Sequoia and Kings Canyon, I headed to Yosemite. I think Yosemite was my favorite. It was incredible even though the tops of all the peaks were all cloud covered the whole time I was there. I ended up hiking up to the top of Yosemite falls and Yosemite point. Great hike. I will most definitely be back again some day. Ran into a guy who had a super clean Cruiser too, had a 350 in it too.

After Yosemite, I headed over to San Fransisco. Always wanted to check this city out and I was not disappointed. Checked out the Golden Gate Bridge, Ghiradelli Square, Fishermans Warf, Lombard St., and just rode my bike around town.

After San Fran, I decided to take Highway 1 all the way up the coast to the Redwoods. Beautiful drive! I also got a few looks from driving a muddy truck around San Fran too!

Headed home after the Redwoods and stopped at Lake Tahoe to hang out for a little while. Beautiful area. Cruised across Nevada and made it to the Bonneville Salt Flats. It had rained all day so there was too much water to drive out there, it was like a huge lake.

Back home in Fort Collins for now after the 4,400 mile trip and preparing for the next trip to either the PNW or directly north to Wyoming and Montana and eventually Canada.
