Robinhood(and others) block GME, BB, NOK, and AMC

Complete transparency... I opened my account to jump on a few shares of GME, but RH would not let me add funds due to "server errors"... I took that as a sign that GME was not in the cards for me. Now, today, you cannot even buy it on their platform. Scummy as hell. They did some how take money out of my account at 1:47 am this morning (so much for server errors?) so they clearly want my money. LOL.

 

Yes, Robinhood is colluding to stop people from ruining these hedge funds. I just opened a webull account, but it takes 2 days (maybe more as others are jumping ship to go to webull)

 

Once you have some time working with webull let me know your thoughts. RH could be dead after all this.

They for sure could be dead after this. They made a big mistake here. My application is processing right now, so hopefully It goes through fast so I can jump in more.

 

While the current volatility and price movements are not about the fundamentals of GME, GME recently has new board members, a few from Chewy. These people purchased quite a few shares last year (I believe) and are poised to pivot GME into something they are not.

So reading, looks like robinhood blocked deposits in prep for shutting down GME today. There are many others saying their deposits didnt go through and their buy orders were cancelled.

 

I thought webull wasn't allowing people to buy GME. are they?

 

They are doing it one sided, you can sell but cant buy. You cant even search for GME, BB, BBBY, AAL, or NOK. Lawyers and many people in government feel this is a breach of the free market.

Robinhood has no problem when you make a terrible financial choice and loose everything, but when their own money is on the line then they will block you from doing so.

 

They just announced they are not.

 

Not sure yet, there are reports that people can get AMC still on there, but I have not heard anything on GME

BB, AMC and GME already rising.

 

I'm in on this gamble (clarification: GME short squeeze) with a small position (5k or so) at about 300/share for funsies. If he dies, he dies.

The internet lost it's fucking mind when all the Apex-Clearing backed brokers locked down opening new positions in the short-fighting meme stocks.

This is a great example of why you should only be dicking around with high risk plays using what you won't miss if it goes to $0. High risk shit goes sideways for the retail investor far more often than it pays off.

Also, shout out to Vanguard, owned by the shareholders of its funds, for absolutely zero trickery or BS through this whole thing.


P.S. if any of the rest of you are retarded enough to ride this ride, don't forget about short term cap gains taxes.

 

I can stay retarded for longer than they can stay solvent. I put in enough that I wont miss yesterday, planned to dump more today till they locked the door.

 

Robinhood has opened trading back up for "limited buys" for tomorrow.... Im going to max that limit out on open.
