Well it looks like I am down to two then at this point, 4X innovations and BAMF. Now to do the in depth inquiry. Are modifications to the base slider expensive (Remember, I am a 1st gen Ext cab, so no worries on back door hang ups) and what is the average wait time for shipping once ordered?

Base HREW 4xinnovation sliders are $200. You can choose between kickout or no kickout for the same price.

DOM costs $250 for kickout or no kickout

Costs $322 for DOM hybrid with kickout or no kickout.

I ordered them on the 16th and got them on the 22nd. So 6 days haha

I went with All Pro for my sliders. No issues. Went with All Pro due to price and shipping turnaround. No regrets.

poor design? idk about that. they are hybrid sliders which means the main tube is square tube which I less likely to dent. if I had it my way I would have a set of bamf sliders over the 4x innovations ones I just got. but cant really beat the price of 4x innovations sliders

    Op,
Are you looking to make a decision base on the votes or the comments? You keep saying it's between 2 brands... 4x is one brand that was not even listed on the poll and people keep recommending it with zero negative comments…. :notsure: its something to consider

Let the butt hurt begin... Id go bamf man seen them in action and they put up with alot, rocks, trees, side of a mountain lol. They are a ridged design and do what they ate designed to do. Bamf is no mass producer he does custom work by hand with a him and a few guys. Human error is there but you know the welds are quality. You can alway grind a hole bigger a weld you cant fix, thats my thoughts. I did not vote on this poll.

well the design is poor if they don't fit! Deflection is also way higher than any other model I've seen to date

Lol, you must have gotten him on a good day. Besides, he still hasn't answered my post here which tells me he either has no balls to man up or is just a shady character. But how dareth I speak critically of thy BAMF on TW, I can hear the fanboys sending per my way now

The OP said drop it so I did I'm not going to sit here and have as pissing contest with you. Most of TW/my customers love my products and the votes at the top of the page show that. If you have a problem with me or any of my products you can PM me.

Last set of Bamf sliders I saw sell locally were because one of the legs was bent 1-1/2" during shipping and the buyer decided to go another route. Another local guy grabbed them up and blackpipe got stuck helping install them if my memory serves me right.

I guess the original buyer didn't want to spend $150 to return them to Jerry :notsure:

Also aren't Bamf sliders missing a leg? Pretty sure he skimps on the legs when other give you 4 he does three :notsure:

    Yea....so no thanks.

While I do not endorse Relentless because some shady shit went down with my order 4 years ago when he was first starting up I can say his sliders deflect less than ANY brand I have seen and even stopped a BMW that broadsided me doing about 25mph. No dents in my sliders and no damage to my truck. BMW was totaled. Also he doesn't tilt his hybrids like other - they are flat like they are supposed to be.

I am looking at making a decision based on votes as well as comments, and then my personal research and question asking. If you look I said there were 2 leaders in the votes and recommendations, and they were BAMF and 4X innovation. So yes, it is being considered. (It wasn't in the poll because I had not heard about them until someone said something about them)

I appreciate the information there so I will ask this since I didn't think about it until you mentioned: BAMF, do your sliders have 3 or 4 main legs to the frame for an extended cab? Any other vendors on here commenting, (I see a couple) how many legs?

As for cost of modifications, this it what I am wanting: On the section where the kickout is, I would like a flat plate that can be used for standing on. I would prefer one that has a few homes it it to prevent TOO much mud accumulation.

I do want to state again that I really do appreciate everyone's comments here. Most people who know me know that I put a LOT of thought into something for my truck. (Heck, it took me 2 months to just decide which winch bumper I wanted to get....FYI I got a Relentless Fab)

Thinking for a minute here, but for those vendors who are posting their assistance here, can you drop a photo of your sliders that fit my truck? 1997 extra cab.

Again.... I ASK because it's clear that more than one member has has negative things to say about the one brand and no one has said anything negative about the other which like you said it was put in the mix by members even though u didn't list it!!!!
You are now requesting pics from vendors.... why not just go to their sites and seach... it is starting to look like if you want them to bid for your business... :notsure:
