Is that a serious question? I had no idea these things would possibly increase the handling. I do know that if I get side swiped I have a nice roll bar across to protect me now. :)

if it stiffens up the frame of the car it should improve handling, so yes, i was serious :) lot of people put sub frames (basically a rock slider under the car you cant see) to stiffen up the body of sports cars.

I did not know that... I haven't noticed any difference but if it did I doubt I would notice. I barely notice my 5100's vs. the black stock shocks lol. Well kinda..... :)

Nice write up. The sliders look great. So the bedliner withstood jacking the truck by the slider?

some do...however, ground clearance can sometimes be a problem in low cars.

on my transam i only tied the front to the back. with the t-bar roof it really stiffened it up. i could jack up the car from the front corner and have the other 3 tires on the ground from the body flex. once i put the subframes on it would lift the entire side of the car from the front corner. any type of body stiffening is usually a good thing.

I did notice one negative side effect that I'm still trying to figure out if it's from the sliders... When driving on rough road or hit a pothole I hear a clunk in the cab and it sounds from under me and sometimes feel it under my feet. I'm guessing it's the sliders hitting the cab where the metal is bent at a 90 degree angle downwards. The sliders in some spots are very close to this and couple spots touching. I plan to bend that metal flat so there is a bigger gap. What's your opinion on that being the sound I'm hearing when my truck flexs over bumps.
