So I have decided to get myself some rock sliders, I am looking to get these:

    http://www.trail-gear.ca/trail-armor/rock-sliders/

I did some research on trail gear products some people bash them others support them. I do live in Canada so it is a little more difficult to get things from the states with an reasonable shipping rate, so these are the best I could find Canada wise.

Anyways it looks like in this kit I will have to make my own gussets for this kit, which is really no problem and also weld them together. Just wondering if anyone has ever gotten this kit? And how was it?

I know but I live in Canada, getting them across the border would cost a fortune

I would go with the prewelded ones. Thats what i got and very happy with them. With the kit you will need the plates as well as the gussets and there is not much of a price diffrence. The nice thing about the kit is you can set the angle of them. Just my .02

No need to get the pre-welded ones if you have a welder and can weld them up yourself.

I got them and did the finish welding. It allowed me to put the legs where I wanted and angle the sliders the way I wanted. And of course add gussets.

They are great sliders for the money. I beat the snot out of mine and they have held up great!
