I noticed rock auto had good reviews from members on this site, so decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. Purchased over $400.00 worth of tune up parts, most oem, which you can't get from most parts houses. I received part of the order the next day, it's like they were waiting on me to order. Ordered a radiator, packaging was excellent, no bent fins. I had to replace a starter on my GFs car, bought three brand new ones from autozone and two from o'reilleys and returned them due to poor quality, cheap plastic housings and operational failures. Brand new one from rock auto works perfect. I buy all my stuff from them now.

I've been shopping there for at least 6 years now. Great site.
Good on returns, as well, I've done that once.

Paid top dollar for three "Brand New", their description, starters from autozone. The first one I received, ordered online, had a cracked housing. The second one, as I was installing it, the plastic housing crumbled in my hands. The third one wouldn't engage it just spun. All three looked as though they had been cleaned up with a wire wheel and refurbished. I pointed this out on every single one and their reply was that's how the new ones looked. I'll never return to autozone for anything. O'reilyes, same deal, bought the new one it looked refurbished, so I just told them to charge me the refurbished price since it's not new , installed it and it failed in a week. The next one I got from them worked for two months and quit. Every starter came from the same parts supplier, just a different name on the box. I've had the starter from rock auto for six months now, no problems. Looked new and fresh not refurbished.

I love Rock Auto. I bought an ECU for my old Jeep from them and had it overnighted. Got the ECU and had it programmed but couldn't get the thing to run right. They ended up taking the return AND refunded the overnight shipping cost which is pretty unheard of.

Any update on this ancient thread? I've read through some reviews at other sights and there are a lot of complaints. I'm looking for wiper blades and the prices they show are very low compared to AutoZone, Advance, and O'Reilly. I just don't want to order from them and end up with crapola.

I know this is an old thread but I have ordered from them about a dozen times and never had a single problem. Their website makes it super easy to ensure you get the correct parts as well. I will order from them as long as I have my 2.4l MT ‘03.

Agreed. Ordered many parts through them over the years for multiple autos. No problems.

I just bought new headlights from RockAuto. Better than the cheapo ones on Ebay or Amazon. They arrived two days after ordering and packaged extremely well. I've bought lots of parts from them over the years.

I got the TYC Headlghts in the smoked reflectors that match the original Sport trim. They come with bulbs and all for $102 each. If you're just buying the base style (not smoked), they're a bit cheaper.
