Arrived today. Looks good. Have to enlarge the hole for the light bar bolt (not a bad thing), and need to make new spacers the same thickness as the rest (they are a bit thinner), but it looks like it will work well. I'll get pictures later when I get it on.
    image.jpg
New spacers are going to be half an inch wider on each side. Got the side brackets on and the visor is an inch short. I'll get new spacers cut and welded onto the visor then bolted to the brackets.
    image.jpg
OP, any updates on best route to prevent the visor from turning itself into a wing from vibrations? A little thick to press louvers in.

    Here she is mounted up.

Folks, this is a great idea. Just setting it up without getting the aiming done, I could see the cut in glare on the windshield and hood. But keep on mind that not all light bar makers make them with the same mount width or radius. Check fitment BEFORE you get it painted or powder coated.

Thinking about ordering a 40-42" curved glare shield, wondering if there's any type of discount for TW members? and of course I'll take pictures when its painted and installed

OP have you considered putting a bend or using a flange tool on tailing edge of these to add some rigidity?

apparently TW decided to stop emailing me when someone posts in this thread..

anyways that looks like a manufacturing defect, like the holes were drilled in the wrong spots.. so you made some wider spacers to fill in the gaps? is that what happened?

everything should fit together perfect like this:

    29wv9mf_66608d9889f49970088e9f2a0b30a79bdaa334e1.jpg

as far as vibrations or flapping is concerned, the center of the visor just needs to be attached to the lightbar somehow. I drilled a hole and threw a zip tie in there, my brother drilled a hole and drilled a short screw, once its attached in the middle all unwanted movement goes away.

    2ib20ig_78dd43ace7b399c46bdcf89fbbef905b1d68a062.jpg

I have tried it and it lessens the vibrations a bit but doesn't cure it. Also the extra machining costs to have the bend put on curved cut was very expensive... best way to fix wind vibrations is to have multiple attachment points.

The issue was that the main piece was actually too short. My picture that you quoted shows how short it was with one side set in place with the spacer as your picture. What I did was get some aluminum and welded it onto the main piece then re-drilled the inside holes on both sides. I used stainless fender washers and longer bolts to hold it all together.
I made brackets that slide into the fins on my bar and then bolt to the visor. It got rid of almost all vibration on the roof and wind noise from the bar.
I also put a small stainless bolt on each side through my RC brackets and the brackets for the visor. That did very well at locking it in place with the light cutoff line being right on my hood rock guard.
