Yeah and I only see "88 Inch mounting edge opens to just over 19 feet end to end". But wondered how deep from the doors out.

ARB 4ft. Victory 4x4 rack and awning mounts.

I keep it mounted on the drivers side because there would be an imbalance in the force if I mounted it on the passenger side which has a snorkel now.

Rhino-Rack Dome 1300 Awning (https://www.rhinorack.com/en-us/products/sport-leisure/shade/awnings/dome-1300-awning_32125 - available for about $200 from third party resellers).

I really like the dome aspect especially given that I don't have it mounted very high up. It is mounted on Mobtown bed bars, so only about six or eight inches above the top of the bed walls. The dome gives one a lot of headroom underneath it without having to crouch down. I've had it up in rain/windstorms with sustained winds of 15 gusting to 25 mph overnight with no issues.

Good design, solid build, reasonably priced.

Smittybilt on the Prinsu rack from a camping trip last summer. Came in handy at this place because there wasn't room to setup our other freestanding ez-up

I have a 6' Smittybilt awning mounted to the side of my FrontRunner roof rack on my shell. I also have a FrontRunner rack on my cab. The awing has a good amount of overlap on the front rack. When I'm offroading, the cab and bed of the truck flex independently so much that the awning smacks the side of the front rack. It's pretty damn annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I know this is a couple month old thread but...I like the look of your awning a lot. I pulled it up on their website and it looks like yours pulls away from the truck a lot more than what the photo shows on their website. Is this a trick of they eye or does it actually pull out farther from your truck than what they show in the stock photos? About how fat does your pull from your rack to the farthest outward point?

You posted awhile ago but hoping you see this. Is that the 6.5’ ARB? I was looking at the 6.5 but was worried it would look goofy being 1.5’ longer than my double cab top. Would you have a side shot of the awning rolled up so I could see what it looked like? I was thinking I could run the extra towards the bed of the truck, but I have a ARE topper on that is cab height and not sure if it would hit it. FYI...nice truck

Thanks man, the awning has worked out great all the times we’ve used it. This is indeed the 6.5’ (2000mm) size. I have the extra length mostly out front and it has been a non-issue. I believe the awning manual says up to 2’ unsupported on the ends is fine.

No you’ll have plenty of room. What rack do you have? Mine is Victory 4x4 and these brackets hold the awning out and up a little bit: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VRKAWN.html

I have an UpTop overland alpha rack. It’s hard to tell if those brackets would hit the aluminum outside piece. I’ll do some more looking at those brackets! Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!
