I was browsing Amazon earlier today and saw this as a possible alternative to some of the more expensive options. Anyone here running this roof rack? Thoughts opinions etc appreciates.
I wouldn’t be loading it up with a ton of weight. More likely than not it would just be used for a few odds and ends or to tie the odd piece of lumber to.

I like the price, though I wish it was a few inches longer on the back side. The metal also looks pretty thin, its just folded at 90 degree angle on the top and front to make it look thicker.

Also, what kind of monkey installed this thing

What actually bothers me the most is that the rack isn’t as wide as the cab.. the price is what makes me ALMOST ready to just go for it.

Yeah, that bothers me too, but most of the racks I see line up with the roof channels. I like the ones that are about 1 inch on each side wider than the channels like the uptop racks.

I feel there is no reason for a rack to be as narrow as the mounting points, your just wasting space on each side and making it look like a 1980 apocalypse movie punks hair cut.

I almost pulled the trigger on a hooke one.
but ended up getting the caliraised one.

the caliraised one covers the channels entirely and is the quietest rack i ever tried. i'm on my 3rd tacoma and i had prinsu before.

they do offer like 10% off to anyone who email them and since they dont charge sales tax, that's like 20%
