I just mounted my RTT above my Bakflip MX4 yesterday using a KBVoodoo rack w/ brackets for the Bakflip. With the whole assembly, I still clear my parking garage and everything. I used a Tepui Lo Pro 2 which is only 7 inches when closed.

If it’s a hard tonneau you can probably mount bars to it like someone would a camper shell. If it’s a soft tonneau, you’ll have to look into the KB voodoo rack style.

Ran mine with the Max Modular (KBVoodoo) rack with tonneau brackets. Just switched to be bars for ease of removal. Dude I sold it to had an electric bed cover that retracts. Worked perfect for him and I think that’s the best possible option. Since he can still utilize his whole bed. You can’t open the cover with the OEM one from factory. 4DF35DFB-7F5E-402C-90D3-DDC639F0783C.jpg74674055-DACA-444B-907B-5A7074C43D04.jpg

Is that the 18" rack or 14"? Looking for a rack setup that will work with a Diamondback HD cover.

I ran the mid height but the brackets added like another 2” so made it a bit higher. Another reason I went to bed bars. Didn’t want it to be over the roof. Have you checked to see if their brackets are compatible with the diamondback ?

    edit: mid height = 14”

Thanks! Yup. They list Diamondback as compatible. Can't decide whether to go 10" or 14". When RTT is not on, I'd like to carry kayaks so the 14" probably be best so kayaks clear roof. But I'd rather keep the RTT below the roofline. Can't always get what you want...

you could always get the iKamper with the load bars, with the 10" rack and the brackets the kayaks should clear the roof

Is anyone running a GOFsr 55” and a max modular bed rack? I was unable to mount mine with the door opening to the sides with the bed rack crossbars perpendicular to the slotted rails under the tent. I’m concerned because the the tent rails now sit parallel on top of the bed rack crossmembers.

Here’s the set up I went with. The KBvoodoo cross bars. Just leave them attached to the tent and lift it off. The 6 screws are easier to install then all of the tent mounting bolts.

I have a Solid Fold 2.0 w/ AluMax from KB Voodoo - the tonneau brackets work great and you don't have to modify your tonneau.
