Heres the clearance I have with the 285s on the 4runner Pro wheels. I also have a CMC and still need to trim a little more plastic, about another inch.

Have 285/70/17 General Grabber X3's on my 2018. I'm using the black 4Runner Pro styles wheels from TRD. I currently rub a little bit on my cab mount when turning or hitting inclines at an angle. Currently scheduled for a local shop to perform a CMC and then it looks like a little more plastic trimming according to @jsinnard... Should this solve my issue? I went back and forth between a simple CMC and a complete Cab Mount Relocation kit from Taco Twonz. Went with CMC plates from BAMF.

Hoping this fixes my issue. Anything else I'm missing guys? Truck pics for attention as always.

Are you still on the factory UCA's?
The reality is you will rub under certain conditions but where is hard to say.

You end up trimming a little, repeat the situation then trim a little until you're done rubbing.

    CMC will help a lot.

I am on factory UCA's. I was a little worried about that but when I put the wheel and tire combination on i had plenty of room from the tire to the UCA. Would you recommend running an aftermarket set? If so what brand?

You get more adjustability for better alignments with aftermarket UCAs, I have the SPC and have been really happy with them.

When I had 885 springs and factory UCAs I was getting uneven tire wear on the outer tread due to too much camber. The truck looked a little bow legged when viewed from the front, it would have been amplified when I went to 887s. The new UCAs corrected that.
