Sounds pretty racey with that afe system. Am I hearing a little burble when you let off to shift?

Yessir! It wasnt as loud in that clip but when you speed shift at high rpms it is much louder. Also kind of grumbles when letting off the gas and decelerating in gear.

It does sound very racy, angry, and mean though!

I dig it, it is a little loud on the hwy but its still livable:D

If i had a little more room id probably throw another resonator on there, but the side exit limits that unfortunately

I have my afr gauge at the merge just before the connection to the mark lll exhaust system. 14.7 at idle constant. And as you know I have the same set up as you...

I'd have to look at it again but we may be able to fit a quieter muffler in ther in place of the AFE muffler and then fit your dual tips to it. IIRC I didnt like the amount of movement of your AFE system so would strengthen it up anyway.

That would be great! yeah the afe hanger has more play in it than necessary. If we can address that and get everything just a little quieter, i think itll be perfect

Ok. You can text me so we can work something out when we are both available and to discuss options.

@rjbiii thanks for posting the videos. Sounds sweet. Seems like the y pipe really creates a very specific sound. I really like it. The burble sounds neat too. Can’t wait to fit one up!

I know, I understand that and feel for you guys. So I’m glad that I’m auto, but miss the standard tranny and being in what gear you want.

I agree. The auto is nice but I’ll be damned if listening to those exhaust clips didn’t take me back to driving my dad’s 85 toyota pickup with a 4 speed. Was a fun truck to drive.
