    I let it warm up long enough for the idle to come down some, so that they could hear the cams. Didn't want to go too long though, because the exhaust was directed straight on the loom behind it.

    Definitely go with the Magnaflow. I got the expensive Vibrant cat (7525) that they advertise and warranty for boosted applications and has a metal core, but it is more restrictive at 300 cfm. The other Vibrant cat 7101 that some are using seems better for flow at 200 cfm, but it's not warrantied and still more expensive then the 200 cfm Magnaflow. I believe the vibrant 7101 is also not metal core while the Magnaflow is. If I had to do it again, I'd go Magnaflow.

    Which vibrant cat is $400? I have the GESi series rated for 350-500hp and those were less than that. The vibrant 7101 is less than $100 I believe

    I recommend the Magnaflow because it is a metal core 200 cell cat (lower #'s are better) and cheap!

    I'm sure the Vibrant GESi cats are better quality (not necessarily better flow) but they are very expensive.
    Cost vs benefit applies here.

    Agreed. I have the GESi's and although they may have good longevity, I can't say they're worth the price for performance since they're more restrictive.

    Same objective, maybe. I don’t think think these are anywhere close to direct comparisons. The link you posted is for the 3.5L and we’re all working with the 4.0L.

    This is thread is for a full stainless, tig welded, hand fitted piece from mandrel formed sections. The other is usually mig welded mild steel and slip fit and welded connections.

    Having said that, I think everyone can agree both V-6’s benefit greatly by maintaining an equal length design. A lot of FJ’s have the dirty deeds exhaust and are super happy with it. But these aren’t direct comparisons by any means.
