Rostra Front Parking Sensors?

Curious if anyone has tried the below Rostra product. They have a good rep and seem to have quality products. Since the wife is driving the Tacoma a bit, kinda would like something like this.

Im not a fan of the LED display but speaking to tech support, they said the volume on the micor speaker is loud enough on the high setting that you can just bury the display in the dash someplace and still hear it without issues.

I could never trust those sensors. OEM or aftermarket. Have you thought about a front camera instead?

 

I mean, you hit the nail on the head with my fears too. I dont know ANYTHING about adding a front camera. Whats that all about?
