Got a new to me Tacoma. Came with rough country spacer lift. Blocks in the rear with looks like extended travel rough country shocks.

The fronts shocks are stock of course. The truck has 60,000 miles. I was thinking its about time to change the front shocks. In the future I'll change the back as I don't believe the lift was installed until about 30,000 miles based on when the car wa a bought and sold, longer story but not important not,

So after reading, yes I searched, I can't find much on people changeing just the shock with a spacer already installed, what are some options for a good shock to reinstall under the spacer?

just put a 5100 under it, I've heard nothing but bad things about rough country, other than it being teeth shatteringly rough. the local 4x4 place will not install order ect a rough country lift

No one truly likes spacers, but what makes the rough country worse ?

Bilstein 5100s or just find some used stick billies on this site. Most of the time people are basically giving them away

1.75" Billy's plus 1/4 spacer on both sides. 1" block in rear. 265/70/17 nitto g2 SCS matte dark bronze 6s
Rough country products arnt really that BAD for your budget but there are better products around for minimal additional cost. New coil over from OME or bilstein is a better option for quality and ride performance then what rough county offers. And spacers are pretty terrible no matter who makes them.
