It was a fairly easy install.

Although, I do a lot of aftermarket wiring and I'm an IT Network Tech by profession, it shouldn't be too much trouble if it's your first time doing some 12V wiring.

I just made sure to use a separate Add-A-Fuse for the driver and passenger side. I'll be adding an aux fuse panel at some point and will run each side of it's own fused circuit.

Lots of good info in this thread!

Ordered mine 3/18 through work received and installed 4/1. Fairly easy install quicker and easier than some of the others in my opinion and can't beat the price. Thanks guys wouldn't have found these without you!

I installed mine last weekend. About the same level of effort as the last pair of neoprene seat covers I owned. They still need to settle in, but so far very happy with them. Great product for the price and they look perfect in my interior!

What was the brand of your previous set? I installed CoverKing about 4 years ago and they are awesome, have held up great but now the driver seat is splitting at a seam and also got a Knick that is spreading (like a 1 inch knife cut). They are no longer sold at a major discount from Costco and a friend of mine who ordered them last year got a set that is fine, but slightly different than mine in thickness. Like the inside pad or whatever is just a different material, which is fine, but I don’t want to replace 1 and have it different, and I don’t want to replace them all at their full price cost.

Anyway, curious how these are compared to what I currently have.

My last set were Coverking Neosupremes. I had them on my last truck for about 7 years before I got rid of it. They held up great! No tears or any other kinds of problems. I would just take them off an wash them a couple times a year. The RC feel nicer in terms of initial quality. They fit a bit tighter, and just look a little more polished. My only complaint would be that I have power seat adjustment on the driver side, and the cutouts aren't correct for that. But not a biggie, as I don't adjust the seat a lot, and can reach under the seat cover if needed.

Thanks for the feedback. My current set is the CoverKing full Neoprene, which my impression is that’s the same material that these RC’s are, which would make sense in your opinion that they had a nicer feel in quality over the neosupreme material CoverKing also offers.

Mine have lasted about 80k miles in 4 years so I’m def not complaining about the small split on the driver seat…. I just don’t want to swap 1 seat, or fronts only, if the back is different in color.

Based on that, cost, and feedback here I’ll probably swap my entire set w/ these RC covers.

Thanks again for your input! You can’t beat $200 and neoprene covers in a well used vehicle is a great choice.

Bumping this thread with newb questions.

I am installing my RCs covers.

    1) Is it the same set for Crew Cab as Double Cab? Factory says "Crew Cab Only" (and he was good and nasty, as usual on the phone - always the same guy too.) Mine are installed but there are some "stray" slits that don't seem to have a purpose with the double cab, is that what y'all found to be true also?

    2) Is there a proper orientation for the rear left and right head rests. I think mine are funky? Or am imagining it? (will post picture).

    3) To be certain I have it right. People ARE able to tuck the covers under the driver's side on power seats AND use the elastic without taking things apart?

    Thanks for the hand holdin'.

    Pete

Not sure about your question #1. I have these seat covers on an access cab.

Yes, to your question #2. You can look at the cover next to the head rest and see which way it should go on.

I was able to use the elastic without taking things apart. It was a PIA but I got'er done.

Also, just to be clear, the seat cover is installed over the power seat control, I did not tuck mine under the plastic along the side of the seat. I looked at it and was hoping to do it that way, but it didn't seem like it would fit...? I can still feel and use the power seat control.

Hope this helps at least somewhat. FWIW, I do like the seat covers.

This is the look on the driver's electric that I'm trying to get... but I don't want to muck anything up:

I wasn’t able to use the elastic that is at the power seat controls position, everything I tried interfered with the controls making them unusable. I just tucked the seat cover between the plastic and the seat and it hasn’t moved since with it being such a tight fit.

Did you still use the straps with the clips (the ones that run front to back)?

pete, this isnt rocket science. just use what ever you need to get the look you want. Pull, tug, unbolt the seats and tip them over to gain better access to the straps underneath.

yes I did. It was just that one that goes sideways over the power seat controls I couldn’t use. It jammed the controls on the backside. There is probably a way to do it but I gave up
