This is going to be a weird thread. I was hand waxing my car when I realized my front left quarter panel was very rough to run the applicator over. I made two video to show the sound difference between the quarter panel and the hood. I am thinking a clay bar would probably do the trick, but I'm also worried that it has nothing to do with debris imbedded into the clear coat but maybe a painting flaw itself. What do you all think?

Could have gotten some overspray on it at the factory or even the dealer. Try a clay bar & see if it improves. If that helps but doesn't completely remove the contamination then you can go a little more aggressive & try to lightly polish the fender.

Why are you waxing your truck without having clay barred it first?
    Especially a black truck.

    Ahh.

Clay bar should take care of any surface contaminates and that sound should stop.

Nanoskin autoscrub would be what I'd give a shot with.

    You'll never use clay again.

Just try it once and you will be hooked. Must faster, can use over and over, and if you drop it you can just wash it off. Really good stuff that flat out works better and faster than traditional clay.
