I've got 4 KC spots and two Hella driving lights that I kept from my 98' Cherokee, while they look good on square body vehicles, I'm not too sure how they'll look on a more rounded off body style. I'm debating on selling these lights and getting a LED light bar. I've been looking at the caliraised 32" duel row to mount in the bumper. I do some off roading, most is on the beach and around here you don't wanna use long distance off road lights (I'll be getting amber ditch lights for that). But on occasion I go out to the trails west of me where that added light would definitely help due to the narrow roads and the deer/bear. Just looking to see your opinion. Should I get some kind of light mount for the round lights or should I say bye to them and stick with something more simple and neat?

They're old Hologens. I prefer their look as well, just don't know if I'll like the look on a newer vehicle. And I figure if I wanted do, I got some buddies I can sell the lights to and get enough to buy a light bar and the the brackets. Also, I'll need to spend more as far as wiring with the 4 spots then I would with the light bar. Figure I'd need 1 relay per set of 2 with the KCs, I wouldn't want to wire them to one switch (don't even know if I can) opposed to one relay and one switch for the LED. I think it comes down more to needs than wants honestly. Wouldn't mind seeing how the newer trucks look with round lights though.

Unfortunately the newer tacos have plastic bumpers (at least mine does) so I would need an actual bar to mount to, which I have looked into. Found one, smittybuilt I believe for about $150ish

Yikes. Might just be cheaper to go the lightbar route then. Honestly lightbars give out significantly more light output than the little roundos and they can be had super cheap off eBay. The lightbar route may be the route for you.

I remember my dads 90s (can't remember the exact year) T-100 had the steel bumper and he had lights mounted there and on a roll bar. Wish I could set mine up the same way, but times have changed I guess. Still haven't told him I got a truck yet... oops

I have KC halogens, KC HIDs, and some Rigid LED cubes, and the halogens are by far my favorite lights. They project really far - which imo is the most useful light. LED is great for anything under 5mph.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I like round for older model vehicles, and light bars/pods for the newer. Just personal preference though.

Do what works best for you because in the end it's your truck.
