I like the "evo" paint job your truck has on the front bumper, makes me want to try it. did you do it with vinyl or paint?

Roxspin, you know I love your truck. Awesome build.

Couple of questions....did you use the X-Runner pulley set from NST? Were there any problems using this on a non-XR?

Have you done any weight reduction mods?

Reason I say that is because I have never heard of it as a X-Runner Pulley set. 4.0L is 4.0L from 2005 until at least 2011...

Yes I have NST Pulleys installed with no issues and no regrets...

Besides NST Pulleys, I Have done no reduction modifications...

How do you get it from not peeling off with the masking tape? Do you just peel the masking off while the plasti-dip is wet?

    +1

I found this out the hard way:(. But due to a collision, I had the whole front end replaced, plus added the new 2011 Grille:cool:. Read more how-to's on XRU, and will be repeating the process, as stated above.

Thermostat is a 180 deg therm. from APR. It comes with the APR X-1.

If Im lucky and my Tune is running solid I should be pushing 350 plus.

    Still need a Dyno.:D

ok, but how durable is the plasti-dip on the front of your vehicle? i only ask this, because after dealing with it eventually peeling off my emblems, i got fed up with it and ended up taking all my emblems off and painting them with rustoleum. I just dont want to spend a lot of time masking, prepping, and getting it just right, only to have it peel a few days/weeks/months later.

    Dyno it already dude!!!!

I believe that Gadget is working on making a cooler than factory T-stat, now. Since APR stopped.

Or you can always do my 160* T-stat mod. But then it will most likely run too cool for most peoples' taste.

I could not find a good street tire that would not drastically affect my gear ratio..

Soo, went with Khumo 275/55/18's, which = 29ish.. adding up to a 3.81'ish gear ratio rather than my previous 32" set up which yeilded me a 3.63' ish ratio..

What tires are you guys running? I have 18's....

Mine are similar to his. Except my wheels are a hair wider. 20x9.5 with the same size tire as his.

I believe that General Tire has a few that would meet the requirements which you are looking for, size wise.
