    It's all in my head at the moment...
    I was just at my local Wal-Mart stocking up on Spam and Yo-Hoos and took a stroll through the automotive aisle. They have Royal Purple 5w30 on sale for $5.00 a quart.

    Now the tag that was on the shelf was red so I'm assuming that it is a clearance item. The oil was located right where it was supposed to be next to and mixed in with the other brand name synthetics.

    I'm not up to the synthetic swap over point yet so I didn't bother but wanted to pass this tid-bit along.

    The Wal-Mart I was at is in Northeast Columbia, SC on Two Notch. Maybe they are all doing it.
