    hey everyone!

just wondering if anyone has experienced their rubber strip on top of the cab blowing off? mine blew off yesterday and i didnt notice until today at work! i thought i lost it for good and would have to buy another from the stealership! turns out it blew off in the carwash and when i traced back my steps i found it there! :D any tips for making sure it stays on? the clips are still there and attachments on the strip is still in good condition. picked up some new 2-sided tape to replace the little piece toyota adds to it.

I'm having the same problem, is anyone else? I want the roof rack rubbers to stay on but I don't want it to be permanent in case I eventually get a roof rack.

    Adhesive?
    Double Stick Tape?
    Caulk?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Mine blew off in a car wash once. I put it back on and stopped going to car washes. Scared the poo outta me.

I would think some double sided tape would work fine.

Double sided 3m tape in a few places should do just fine.

None, factory diff lockers are great.
Mine flew off going down the highway and got lodged between the cab and the bed. Took it to the dealer and they just put a new one on. Sad thing is that I expect it will happen again.

Got same issue. I read some where that there is a TSB for it. My driver side comes off real easy. The ds tape may work but if it gets wet which it will then your gunna have same issue.
