Rubbing issue

Hey guys,

I have the common rubbing issue most guys get with 285/75R16 tires. I have a coil over suspension set at 2.5" and have 16x8 rims with 4.5" backspacing and am getting a lot of rubbing on the cab mount while turning.

I've been searching a lot but I can't seem to find out if I drop tire size to 265/75R16 tires on these rims whether or not I will still get rubbing on the cab mount.

I'd really like to avoid cutting and welding if I can. Will 265/75R16 tires with 4.5" backspacing rub the cab mount or body?

265 should have no rubbing. 285 your going to have to do a lil trimmin for it not to rub.

y'all is crazy. there must be something wrong with my truck because it doesnt rub any cab mount
