I have the Toyota version of it. Its Toyotas first venture into their own hard bed cover. Its heavy but I do like it. Seals up well.

Are you referring to the way the corners almost sit over the rails? If so the owner said he pulled it back a tad to make a better seal on the tailgate. I bet they fit great. I'm looking at this one or the extang solid fold 2.0 which is almost too short for the 16 beds.

Yes. But was he able to center it or do they just hang off the other side?

I bet the truth be known that the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 they are selling for the 2016's are actually for the 2015's. I don't see how Extang had there covers out 2 months before the other brand covers.

Back in September a local tonneau dealer tried to sell me a 2015 Solid Fold 2.0 cover for my 2016. He claimed all Extang would be changing is the gasket at the cab end and he could easily do that mod himself. Not sure if that is true or not, I turned his offer down.

I am waiting on a Bakflip F1. I like the flush look. The Bakflip VP looks good to as it appears to be a 1 pc but it's Vinyl. Not sure the longivity of it. Personally I would go with a 1 piece color matched before an OEM or Extang if the likes of Bakflip or Gator FX was not available.. It seems to me Extang just threw something on top and said" there you go".

Yea the Extang I wouldn't take for free. I am considering the Rugged Liner Cover because it's currently on sale for the week for $640 shipped. But I agree about the flush look, I had a flex on my old truck and loved it. I just don't really want to start drilling into the bed of a new truck though.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I don't think the Extang or stock coves look bad at all. I do like the look of the backflip better as it sits flush. The loss of the bed rails/cleats is a deal killer for me though with the backflip. I like how the Extang and Rugged Liner remove easier for full use of the bed. I don't like how the Backflip covers the rear window when open.

So i was about to pull the trigger on an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 when I ran across the Rugged Liner Hard Fold. What's your pick?
