Costco had some really nice metal shelves. I bought one for the corner of my tiny garage and it made a huge difference. Super heavy duty and like $180. Was a great deal. Would get more if I had the room.

Yea I saw those but A I have a small 2 car garage so they are kind of too big and B coronavirus recession is hitting the house bad, so $180 shelves need to be made for $40 worth of wood!!

Yeah, when you have a small space to work with, getting even a little bit of stuff off of the floor is huge. We had to deal with that at the house we sold since it was a tiny 50’s vintage single garage that had hardly any depth to it.

I love the metal rivet racks that have the particle board decks. You can get them in all kinds of widths, depths, and heights, and they’re stupid easy to put together. They aren’t the cheapest, but they should last me forever.

I hope you can get that knocked out, man! I was actually going to do my own shelves out of wood and melamine, but the way the shop layout came together it ended up being easier to just go with the few metal shelves that I already have.

Thanks man I hope so to! I'm actually using some of those metal racks with the partical board tops as a work bench right now, pretty nice for what they are. I want to put some thicker plywood on them so I dont rip the vice out of the board again LOL

It may look a little weird to some people, but I like the look of it with just the bed rack. And since I don’t have a place to store the rack, this is where it’ll have to live for a while.

I’m stoked that I don’t have to roll around with the tent on there all the time, despite the reduction in EAF points. Thankfully, I haven’t posted on IG in years, so I guess I don’t need to worry about losing all of that influencer cred... Should make wheeling a lot better, which is really all I care about anyway.

I did the exact same thing for years because I was too lazy/didn’t have funds for an actual bench. It worked great!

    yeah this what I got.

Very nice and heavy duty for truck parts and well..anything. The wood ones always annoyed me a bit as they would deteriorate over time.

The next question is ... which one of us hyena's will snatch up your current bumper.

I haven’t fired it up since I drove it off the trailer and parked it.

    I do have plans, tho.

Haha, well, turns out @climber-420 is first in line once it’s available. He reached out to me last week after he bought some things from @Tacofire98 and Jake mentioned me moving on to this bumper.

I was thinking about this last night after you asked me about it, and I might run a few things by you if you don’t mind. It’s been awhile since I have even thought about modifying the Jeep and you might have some good suggestions for where to go with it.
I’ll definitely take some pics as it comes together and post them up so everyone can see my killer welding skills

Probably won’t be starting work on it for a little bit tho while I try to get my office and the rest of the shop done.
