Runnin 4 Tacos

Does anyone know what the "Transport Fee" that runnin4tacos charges when you buy locally. I just placed an order and instead of shipping, I am going to pick the order up, and that is an option. So I went on their site, I buy the skids and armor, place in cart, hit local pick up and I pay taxes. I then got an email, that I owe transport fees. I asked them about this but no response yet and I am pretty sure I still have to pick the items up.

so anyone who has ordered should know what "Transport Fee" is? It certainly isn't transport or shipping, since I am picking items up.

 

Your probably paying for the shipping to R4T from the vendor, might as well drop ship straight to you if that's the case.

 

Yes, they verified that's the cost. I am fine with that. Just wondering. It was strange to see a cost for pickup. And some of those transport fees can be as high as $250. I agree with you, if it gets that expensive, why not just send it directly to the buyer and save him some money. In my case cost was only $70, because, lets face it, RCI is based in Co, lol.
