My flares are painted with rustoleum spray on bed liner. It holds up pretty well but it has chipped on the bottom side of the flares in a few places.

Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
Did I say I used it once a while ago? I spray in bed liners for a living, I know what I'm talking about. Nice try though.

To make the blanket statement that all can applied products are junk is ridiculous. Obviously a product like Line-X would be better, it's thicker and more durable but for smaller applications, not necessary when a simple can-applied product is more than sufficient.

And no, you didn't say you used it once a while ago but if you're going to knock a product, I'm assuming you at least used it at some point and it didn't work out for you very well... If you haven't used it before, then your statement about them all being junk is a blind comment.

Being that I do this for a living I know the differences between the stuff in a can that is junk, no matter what brand verses the real stuff. I have tried several different products that are offered in a can, and surprisingly enough they are all junk. I don't know why you are arguing with me when you do not know anything about spray in materials apparently. Oh, and I would probably charge about $40 to spray the valance area on these trucks, sure it cost more but it will never chip, fade, and has a lifetime warranty on it. So how about you stop trying to defend a crappy product that you have no knowledge about. Thanks.

First, I sanded the wheels and rinsed them off. Next, I taped everything off I didn't want paint on. I sprayed two coats of self etching primer on. Lastly I sprayed about 3 coats of the Rust-oleum bedliner.
It's easy to touch up, I tape off the lug nuts and center cap, then put plastic grocery bags behind the wheels and spray. It has held up well through winter the biggest chip I have took off metal so I can't blame the product. I think it would hold up well on a valance too. The pictures look more shiny and gray in direct sunlight then they actually appear, the color is more of a matte black.
