Alright, so I feel really stupid posting this. Did the mod and she ain't squirtin.

Drove around for about an hour with the AC on and no puddle. Checked both sides of the firewall and there are no kinks and no AC runoff inside the cabin. Also tried to feel for the "blowing" but to no avail.

    Anyone else have this issue?

It may not happen right away. It’s also partly dependent, according to my dealer, on weather conditions. Give it a bit of time.

Thanks for the reply. I do live in an arid region, not sure if that may affect it as well.

Also make sure you didn't tighten the hose to much to inadvertently close off the hose.

Is the frame rust on welds still an issue on the 2019 tacomas? wondering if this is a must-do mod. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I wouldn't call it a must-do. But it's a quick, simple, and inexpensive feel-good mod.

It's been very dry lately, low humidity = minimal condensation.

Probably not, but better safe than sorry. For something so inexpensive and simple, why risk it?

Probably a dumb question but how do you remove the plastic clip/bolts that hold the skirt in the wheel well? (Step one 2 bolts/tabs)...

    Thanks in advance.

Reach behind the clip and push. They come out fairly easy with minimal pressure from behind.

Actually....if you can reach behind the clip/pin and squeeze/compress the tabs then push the clip/pin out. The tabs are on the clip/pin, you might not feel it at first, but you will see what I mean once you get the clip/pin out.

Thanks for help! @Uptown2k can’t thank you enough for posting this.
Wanted to share where I routed the hose and get some opinions on it.

Just did my 2018 AC as well, using 5/8” ID heater hose. Kept it away from exhaust with two zip ties to the brake line bracket. Anything to slow the rust down. I have enough hose left to do this to my dads 2012 as well. I’m assuming 2nd gen Tacoma’s have the issue as well.. Thanks for the info!843B19EA-4214-413B-B212-678C27CBDA3A.jpgEA00A727-F4BF-45AD-A850-F757C1B80969.jpg

I'd get that hose further away from the exhaust, but that's just my two cents.

I'm still trying to figure out where this is . Left mine real long so everyone keeps saying something about it. I'll get around to it. Was messing with it at night and there were too many bugs. I'll have to find that entry hole.
