Hi all does anybody have a Ryobi 6500 watt generator with a honda GX390 engine in it? I purchased at the home depot. The generator has an on/off switch with two wires and a connector that doesn't connect to anything. The generator is working fine i just can't figure it out what that switch and connector do. I've checked the manuals on Ryobi's webpage and also called them with no luck. thanks for any help.ryobi generator.jpg ryobi generator2.jpg ryobi generator2.jpg

Don't have one, but... remote on/off and start, like so you could run some wires and start it from inside the house/camper...?

The honda generator I use, has a switch that looks the same as that. It is the on/kill switch for the entire generator.

Does it have an on board battery for starting in addition to the pull start? If so it could be for plugging in a battery charger. My Generac has that.
