Doesnt matter the length between posts.. your refreshing this post will ultimately allow someone to find the answer that they didnt know they wanted

 

actually, it does matter if you think you are participating in a thread where people are exchanging ideas and wondering why you are not getting a response. it was obvious the new member (10 posts) did not notice (as he confirmed) the age of the thread. i think i did this once or twice myself when first joining. previous posters are long gone...but adding info is always welcome. and kudos for using the seach function .

edit: hmmm...maybe a mod will see this and pass it on. if a thread is dead for some long period of time, based on the date of the last post, a new post could get a heads up while composing, not to discourage but inform.

 

the long gone poster is of no consequence. The fact that the post was revived is nothing but a good thing for current members
