Probably. I think Jerry said there were 3 sections that were challenges? If so, I'd like to hear from Cha if that tree is below all 3 sections or if I had passed any of the challenges. Only once did I have to backup and pull forward to make a turn. I'm thinking the first challenge Jerry was referring to may have been the hill that seemed to be all rock. Definitely a bumpy ride!

Me and a couple of guys are heading out to Long Canyon this Sunday the 3rd. The obstacles/ challenges are ahead of where the tree was. They are harder than anything before the tree and sliders are helpful but can be done without with some rock stacking. If any one is interested in going with us give me a call at 916.320.0927 or post up so we will have a head count. We will be meeting at the In & Out burger off Forni Road in Placerville at 9a.m.

Good fireworks at Cameron Park lake last night. Love the ones that seem to kick in afterburners (they slowly spread out and then some take off in different directions at high speed)!

Also, the news was talking to one of the staff at Alpine Meadows this morning for 4th of July skiing and the woman said they still have 15 feet at the top! Ever see those old photos from the '50s with an old car going over Mt Rose Hwy in August where the car's going through a section where the snow is 15 - 20 feet deep?

Went up MET to Capps Crossing and took the road where the water crosses it. Seems no one is camping at the 4wd spots. If you guys ever want directions, just let me know. Right on the water with good spots to wade in and no other camping around. Downside for most people is there's no bathrooms, but hey it's camping!

Sorry guys, seems like I only show up here once in a blue moon. Just wondering how much you guys paid for your smog check service? I called several shops around the area to check up on smog fees and the average were between 55-68 dollars. I went to this place called SMOG CHAMPS located on 5889 Power Inn Road. The guy only charge me $40. Fast and great service. I told him I'll be referring friends and family. Thought I share this information with all you here in Sacramento. DMV fees are no joke. It took a big chunk out of my family camping trip money we've been saving up for. I still need to go rent a trailer for my camping trip this upcoming week. Anyone rented trailers from Uhaul before? How's the rates and insurance work???
