Don't burn me here but I was looking for a clean way to mount my hi lift to my VooDoo hi rise upright bars. It turns out a cheap Amazon Jeep JK/JL hi-lift hood mount fits perfectly. It uses the 2 bolt holes on each side so it's a lot more steady than just a single bolt, it stands the lift off the truck just enough to clear the bedsides yet not protrude past the fender flare and have room on the inside for the sand base. It came with all of the mounting hardware, 2 large thumb screws and did not need 1 modification at all to fit this application. 28$ delivered in 2 days! Would easily work for sand boards on the other side as well.

Mount it on the inside of the bed, you're never going to use it.
